Hi all- I'm Valentine/Val for short. Currently exploring this site while I'm on break from university.
Did I find this via a random tumblr post? Yes. Do I have any idea what's going on? No. Unfortunately, my autism has kept me in very specific parts of the internet through my life so I rarely got to see outside my bubble. But hey, I guess the fuckery on tumblr has one good consequence- I'm actually looking around the rest of the internet!

Simple facts are I'm a late-diagnosed autistic with some wonderful undiagnosed chronic illnesses and the usual depression and anxiety that tend to accompany these things (I do have agoraphobia as well- joy!)
Obsessed over the band Ghost and the Locked Tomb book series by Tamsin Muir, though I love gothic & cosmic horror books, vampire media and anything with lesbians in it. I'm a ttrpg player, plush collector, casual jazz "singer" and gothy femme who gets too weak in the knees over butches and studs to actually approach them.

How often will I post here? Who knows. I've always been a lurker on other platforms.

Welcome! Just out of curiosity, what rabbit hole led you to me? lol

If you haven't already and you're interested, you can make a post on an addme comm to find more friends, such as addme and addme_fandom. If you search addme in the interests search, there are other more specialized addme comms.

My favorite way to discover things here is to look over other people's profiles, because they have interests listed I hadn't thought to list, and it's also been a fun way to find interesting communities too! I'm always surprised by how many communities there actually are around here. And don't be afraid to post in a comm that hasn't been active in a few months or so. That happens sometimes, but there are usually plenty of active people subscribed to it.

I went around searching through the interests when I made this so found you as a fellow queer witch with very good taste in music and media. I'll probably be updating my own whenever I remember something not on there (am a bit of a scatterbrain)
